Hi everyone, Ry here. Hope you are all well.

I started drumming at the age of thirteen, that was it, I was addicted to heavy metal!!

Since then i have never looked back.

As you can probably tell ( ! ) my favourite shells are Sonor. I was introduced to Sonor drums by my drum teacher initially at a young age and then watched some of my favourite drummers, Nicko Mcbrain (Iron Maiden), Mickey Dee (Motorhead), Phil Rudd (AC/DC) play those shells and after that i was hooked on Sonor equipment.

I know everyone has their favourite brand of equipment but i personally believe Sonor are the Rolls Royce of drum shells, they are simply the best quality drums i have ever played and i have played quite a lot of different brands.

For me they have the best deep warm punchy tone quality and just look so beautiful.

My shells are

Sonor Force 3005 22"x18" Kick.

14"x5.5" Snare.

Toms 12"x10", 13"x12", 14"x15", 16"x16"

They are all Maple shells and I use Remo Drum Heads as a preference

When it comes to cymbals i just love playing Paiste cymbals

Paiste Rudes are my favourites and i just think they are the most durable Cymbals I've ever played. For a hard hitter like myself they are perfect for the way I play. Hit them hard and fast and they produce such a bright and clear sound.

I love the Paiste 22" Rude Ride, it is very bright and gives me precise stick articulation and has an extremely raw bell!

I was influenced to use Paiste Rudes by the great Dave Lombardo (Slayer) and Charlie Benante (Anthrax)

My current cymbals are as follows

14" Paiste Rude Hi-Hats

17" Paiste Rude Thin Crash

18" Paiste Rude Crash/Ride

18" Paiste 2002 Crash

18" Paiste Rude China

22" Paiste Rude Power Ride

Thanks for reading guys

 Keep music live

Together we will never be silenced

xx Ry xx
