Hi guys, Debs here.

I'll be honest, i was a singer before I was ever a song writer. I was unable to read very well until I was 8 or 9 years old due to my dyslexia which was undiagnosed at the time so i could literally sing before I could talk. As a natural performer I would perform impressions of famous singers for my grandmother and later for my school friends. I joined a musical theatre company when I was 11 years old and later i was cherry picked to join a professional choir. With my vocal talents I auditioned and joined my first band in my teens and have been singing in bands ever since. I began writing lyrics in my teens but never dared share them with anyone for many years. In my twenties I joined an original rock band called Angel Slide and we began performing my original songs. In 2015 I wrote and recorded my first album with a lot of help and i also began to learn to play guitar that year. In 2017 i started to gig solo playing guitar and singing and i was getting lots of gigs playing mainly covers and writing songs just for my own pleasure. In 2019 I met Nige and Ryan and initially we were going to gig a few rock covers . One day Nige asked me if I had any original material 😊

My song writing process is unusual. I usually write lyrics first with the melody forming in my head as I write the words. I’m a basic chord strumming guitarist so I will play a few chords and see what fits my melody that way. I play it and change it until it clicks then I usually send it over to Nige. Some of our tunes are Nige's creations mixed together with my words and melodies. Many things influence my lyrics, I read avidly, I dream in incredible detail and often wake up with verses in my head. I know that between us all we can bring my ideas to life 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻

Keep music live

Together we will never be silenced

Music is life
